2023 is almost ended and 2024 is going to start in few days.

This means that Eroica Japan 2024 is gettin closer, only 5 months left.

Spring is maybe my favourite season to drive through the Izu Peninsula and I'm doing it since I came here, 12 years ago.

These are some of the pictures I've taken in May, in all these years.

As you can see, the beauty of this region is definitely its wild (but not chaotic) nature.

From the mountains to the sea, from the rivers to the sea.

Temperatures and weather are not different compared to Italy. The main difference is that here you usually have longer summers/winters and shorter springs/autumns.

May is probably the perfect month, with some heavy rains here and there but also a lot of sunny and warm days to enjoy.

These may be some of the roads that you could drive through if you'll join Eroica 2024 sponsored by Mapei and Nagaoka RMC.

And if you'll be lucky enough you'll be able to see the majestic Mount Fuji from many different angles, thru the clear sky.

And why not, take a break to have a brief swim in the ocean in one of the beautiful and not crowded small beaches you'll find on the way.
