Eroica is an event that took place for the first time in Italy, in Toscana Region to be exact.

Toscana is famous all around the world especially for its symbol City, the symbol of Renaissance, Firenze (Florence).

One of the most beautiful cities ever, where you can smell history, art and passion everywhere.

Passion for food (the Mecca for beef lovers with its Bistecca alla Fiorentina), good wine, sports and life in general.

But Toscana is not only Firenze, all the Region is a gem. Many other beautiful cities, like Siena, famous for its history too and for its Palio, a horse race that takes place every year in the middle of the city, attracting tourists from all over the world.

Siena has a wonderful countryside, which comprehends, between the others, the lands of two of the best red wines globally, Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti. Not far is Valdichiana, famous for its carne (meat) Chianina, so add great red wines to great beef and we probably will want to live there forever!

But for cycling lovers and not only for them, it is an area that became famous also for Eroica, a bycicle tour of the region, through its beautiful white country roads (named Strade Bianche=White Roads).

Over 200 chilometers of ups and downs for quite a tough but incredible experience.

This is the concept that Eroica Japan (in this case) wants to export in Japan. A tour through some magnificent landscapes like Toscana and Izu can provide, accompanied by a warm welcome and excellent local specialities.

In the Siena - Firenze area the seaside is missing, while that is one of the prominent beauties of the Izu Peninsula, but for all the other aspects both the areas are really full of spectacular views, from the countryside to the mountains.

So, we hope that a lot of participants will enthusiastically join this event.
